Terms of sale

Hotel Ærø reserves the right to pre-authorize your credit/debit card prior to arrival.

When you make a reservation via our website: www.hotel-aeroe.dk we ask for a guarantee with your credit card or payment at the time of booking if you have chosen this payment method. First name and last name must match the guest's ID card and credit card, which must be presented upon request at check in. You can see the cancellation and payment conditions on the current offer when booking. This also appears in the confirmation, which is sent by email after a booking has been made.

Payment is made in DKK:

All prices are total prices including VAT.

Conditions for changing and cancelling a reservation:

Reservations made on the hotel's own website can be changed or canceled. In the event of a change or cancellation, reservations are made for any price changes. The reservation cannot be moved to another hotel. In the event of a cancellation, you will receive a confirmation of cancellation to the email address provided. This confirmation is a guarantee that the room has been canceled. For hotel stays/accommodations booked through a third party or online travel agencies, the party in question must be contacted directly.

Reservations without cancellation option:

If you have made a non-refundable booking, the reservation must be prepaid and is non-refundable. Changes can only be made by contacting the hotel directly either by email: post@hotel-aeroe.dk or tel: +456221 0760. When changing, a fee of DKK 300 per reservation per time the date is changed. We also point out that changes in date, number of nights, number of people, etc. may lead to a change in the price per night. Reservations are made for sold-out days and/or room categories when changing the date or length of stay. Any price reduction in the stay due to a change is not refundable. Reservations can be changed up to 12 months from the originally booked date.

Reservations with the possibility of cancellation:

All reservations that include accommodation with or without breakfast can be changed and/or canceled without additional fees or costs until 12:00 on the day of arrival. Changes or cancellations after 12:00 on the day of arrival will result in the first night of the stay being charged. Reservations are booked as a stay with board (e.g. weekend stays or golf stays can be canceled before 12:00 the day before the day of arrival).

Changes to reservations made on the hotel's own website must be made by contacting the hotel directly either by email: post@hotel-aeroe.dk or tel: +456221 0760.

Please note that changes in date, number of nights, number of people or similar may lead to changes in the price per night. Reservations are made for sold-out days and/or room categories when changing a reservation.

In case of no-show, the provided credit card number will be charged according to the cancellation conditions for the reservation in question.

Check in and check out

The room is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival until 11:00 AM on the day of departure. If the departure time is not observed, the hotel reserves the right to charge you for the room rate for an additional night according to the current list prices.

If check-in is not made on the arrival date, your right to use the room for the remaining nights you have booked will be waived. If you wish to use the reservation after the original arrival date, it is your own responsibility to contact the hotel no later than the date of the originally planned check-in. This must be done in writing via email and applies to all reservation types.

Groups

The prices on the website are valid for individual reservations up to a maximum of 9 rooms in total. If 10 or more rooms are booked for the same period, the hotel will consider it as a group, which will result in a change in prices and general conditions, including cancellation and payment conditions. The hotel will send a group contract for signature to confirm the reservations.

Guests under 18 years old

Guests under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult when staying at the hotel.

Card fee

Please note that credit card fees may be charged when paying with certain credit cards.
