Hotel Ærø

Historic Hotel Ærø is located in the middle of historic Svendborg. The hotel has been located idyllically and in the middle of the harbor since 1889, where both sailors and shipowners stopped by to quench their thirst. Our hotel exudes history.

You can of course still quench your thirst at Hotel Ærø, just as you can spend the night in one of our charming and very cozy rooms. In addition, enjoy a wonderful gourmet dinner in our atmospheric restaurant Ærø, which serves traditional Danish dishes of sky-high quality.

In the interior, we have been inspired by English colonial style with beautiful wooden headboards, heavy curtains, fine wallpapers and soft carpets.

Enjoy the beautiful view
Some of our hotel rooms have a view of Svendborg harbor - others have a view from the balcony to our cozy courtyard. Here, the geraniums are in full bloom for most of the year, and the cozy atmosphere invites you to a glass of cool white wine at one of the small tables when the sun shines over the city.
