Cycling holiday for everyone

See Sydfyn on 2 wheels and experience some of Denmark's most beautiful nature. You are welcome to bring your own bicycle. It will also be possible to rent electric bicycles, although not at the hotel. Explore all the little ears at a steady pace or visit the forest and beach in the immediate area.

There are also plenty of good walks and trots on the small islands, which can easily be combined, for example, with an Island Hop and an overnight stay on the small islands.

For the early risers, you have the opportunity to swim in the beautiful Svendborgsund. The beach is 5 minutes' walking distance from the hotel. It is a sandy beach, which is close to Svendborg Marina and there are about 700 meters to the beach from Hotel Ærø.

Walking and running routes in Svendborg

If you are the jogging type or want a nice walk along Svendborgsund, you will be able to get a map of a beautiful route from Hotel Ærø to Christiansminde beach.

The route offers a trip along Svendborg harbor and ends at Christiansminde beach where you via a trail system can go with forest on one side and Svendborgsund on the other. At Christiansminde beach it is possible to swim and there is also a jetty you can use.
