Look forward to a culinary journey on South Funen, where some of Denmark's most renowned chefs will take over the kitchen at Hotel Ærø in Svendborg.
On Friday, November 13th and Saturday, November 14th, you can experience a unique taste experience when Jan Hurtigkarl puts his personal touch on the menu.
Both evenings offer an exquisite 4-course dinner, a cozy atmosphere and an overnight stay in the heart of Svendborg – all seasoned with passion, craftsmanship and the taste of South Funen.

The inventive and personable Jan Hurtigkarl can boast several accolades and restaurants over the years — the most recent with Jakob Mielke in Frederiksberg. Here, Danish ingredients are played with, challenged and redesigned while innovating traditional dishes.

  • Coffee and cake at 3 p.m.
  • 4-course menu at 6 pm
  • 1 night stay
  • Breakfast buffet 7-10 am
  • Price per person DKK 1395,- in a standard double room

Hotel Ærø's restaurant will be closed from Friday, December 20, 2024 at 3:00 PM to Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:30 AM.

Overnight accommodation is offered during this period, however without breakfast.
